The current outbreak of the Coronavirus has been well-documented across the media. It is both a major news story and a major concern. As we have seen evidence of panic-buying and empty supermarket shelves for some essential items, it will come as no surprise to hear confirmation that the outbreak is causing disruption to supply chains.
While many companies have closed during this period, we have numerous manufacturer customers involved in the supply chain of key goods. As such we have utilised our large network of contacts globally to ensure it is very much ‘business as usual’ for our customers – verifying all necessary precautions for health and safety are met.
We have enacted our disaster management protocol, with our team able to access our systems remotely at all times. This enables us to keep service levels at our usual high level while observing the government guidelines.
