Do you handle personal shipments?
No. We only handle commercial shipments between companies.
Which freight shipment method is the best?
The best method is what is right for you and your business. Choosing the right method will be influenced by many factors, including the time frame, location and size of the shipment. A small yet urgent shipment might benefit by being delivered via air freight or by road, but a larger or bulkier shipment with a longer lead time would be better suited by one of our sea freight options.
You can see all of our options by viewing the services tab above.
What are your opening hours?

How can I contact Hawley Logistics?
You can reach us by email at [email protected] or telephone 44 (0) 1706 826 322
We also have a contact page with all of our details, and a contact form.
You can also request a call back.
Does my shipment need to go through customs?
All freight being sent or received internationally will have to undergo customs procedures.
What paperwork will I need for international freight?
In most cases, all we need is a commercial invoice from you to your customer. There are specifics that must be included on this invoice but we can assist you with this.
Sea Freight
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. We can arrange shipping to and from all ports in the world that handle containers. If you are not certain whether your intended destination has a suitable port, please contact us to discuss your option.
Do you ship containers only?
We offer LCL shipping.
If your shipment has less goods than would fill a container, then you can ship a ‘less than a container load’ (LCL) where your goods go in a container with other LCL shipments. Not only does this allow you to send smaller shipments, it also helps to keep costs down.
How large can my Sea Freight shipment be?
We have different container sizes available for Sea Freight shipments. Find the container sizes on our equipment page. If your shipment is too small to fill a full container, then we can send it as a LCL with other smaller shipments. If you need more than the available container size, the shipment could be split. Please contact us for details.
Can you arrange customs clearances on sea freight?
We can arrange sea freight on customs clearance at all UK Maritime sea freight ports.
Road Freight
Can you arrange customs clearance?
Yes. We can help you arrange customs clearance, especially with the additional EU Import/Export customs required since Brexit.
Can you arrange full loads and part loads?
Yes. Whether you have a full lorry’s worth of goods, or just a few boxes, we can ship these around Europe by road.
Air Freight
What are the maximum dimensions for air freight?
We recommend trying to limit the height below 155cm so goods can go in the cargo hold of a passenger aircraft which will reduce costs.
However, if your shipment exceeds this, it is possible to ship goods up to 3m high in cargo only aircrafts.
